Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Core PHP and Laravel Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both fundamental PHP programming and the Laravel framework, capable of designing, developing, and optimizing secure and scalable web applications. This role requires a balance of Laravel expertise and the ability to code directly using core PHP functionalities when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Laravel Development:

1. Design and develop web applications using the Laravel framework, leveraging features such as routing, controllers, views, Eloquent ORM, and middleware.
2. Implement robust security measures to protect against common web vulnerabilities.
3. Optimize Laravel code for performance and scalability.
4. Integrate third-party Laravel packages and APIs to enhance functionality.

Core PHP Programming:

1. Write clean, well-structured PHP code without relying solely on Laravel features.
2. Work with database interactions using PDO or other database libraries directly.
3. Handle complex custom functionalities not readily available in Laravel.
4. Debug and troubleshoot issues in core PHP code.

General Web Development Skills:

1. Leverage front-end development expertise (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to seamlessly integrate with backend systems.
2. Gain proficiency in building and integrating RESTful APIs.
3. Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React.js is highly preferred.
4. Employ version control tools like Git for efficient project management and team collaboration.
5. Adapt and contribute within agile development environments.

Required Technical Skills

Core PHP:

1. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
2. Proficiency in PHP syntax and data structures.
3. Experience with session management and cookie handling.
4. Skill in error handling and exception management.

Laravel Framework:

1. Proficiency in Laravel's routing system and Blade templating engine.
2. Strong understanding of Eloquent ORM.
3. Familiarity with Laravel authentication and authorization mechanisms.
4. Experience with Artisan command-line interface.

Qualifications

1. Software Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a Core PHP and Laravel Developer.

Experience

1. Minimum 3 Years experience in programming PHP/Laravel, after the degree.
